About me

Talking about you is much more interesting to me than writing a paragraph about myself.

But, just so you can understand me a little better, I'll offer up a few niblets...

  • I'm a small-town - class B - New Salem raised - good ol' ranch girl & adore everything that has taught me - HOWEVER, I would definitely flourish in Hawaii from November to April, as well.

  • I'm 'mom' to three smaller versions of myself - which is terrifying. They keep me on my toes. Thank goodness for my amazing man & family. They're the real MVPs.

  • I believe in teaching above said children the importance of actual hard work, so they do attend *some* sessions with me. If you believe this would be an issue, please don't hesitate to say "Hey lady - no kids allowed."

  • I’m a homebody. Too much time with other people is ridiculously exhausting. My Friday nights usually consist of family, horror movies & Photoshop/Lightroom. My heart is content with the simple things.

  • I come from a family of educators, ranchers & law enforcers.

  • Raw onion is the literal worst.

  • Despite the previous statement, I'm a foodie & LOVE trying different ethnic cuisine. Except lutefisk. Nope.

  • I always dreamed of opening a restaurant/bakery. My most cherished memories are in the kitchen with my grandparents. I'm the only one my grandpa taught his famous gravy recipe.

  • I have the most amazing man and two of the most amazingly beautiful women for best friends.

  • My first car was a 5-speed 1986 Chevy Cavalier, which was dubbed White Lightening. Since it only had an AM radio, I was that girl with a boombox in the passenger seat. My dad knocked it out of gear when I was 17 while stealing a bag of licorice from the front seat and blamed me when it rolled down the hill face-first into a tree.

  • When I actually have free-time, I love going on adventures with the lil fam, painting, sketching, reading, and...WAIT FOR IT...writing lists.

  • Ben & Jerry's Tonight Dough is LIFE. Oh, and I'm lactose intolerant. God truly has an amazing sense of humor.

  • I'm the oldest of 4 - and the only girl. At 5'9", I'm the shortest adult child in my family.

  • I have a degree in Graphic Design & Communications and have had the opportunity to learn from some of the most amazing photographers and top marketers/designers across the country.

  • I couldn't be chained to my computer & craved client contact, which is why I'm now photographing the most attractive humans.

  • I sing in the shower - like a chihuahua in a toaster.

  • When I grow up, I want to be Betty White.
